Prof. Li Kaicheng

School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST), Wuhan, China
Biography: Professor Li Kaicheng mainly focuses on research on electromagnetic measurement, power quality analysis and control, electronic transformer, intelligent instrument etc. He teaches courses such as "Signals and Systems", "Sensors and Automatic Measurement", "Weak signal detection" and so on. He published more than 100 papers in domestic and international journals, and gained morn 10 patents and 5 government awards. He instructed more than 30 master's degree students and PhD students.

Prof. Tetsuya Shimamura

Graduate School of Science and Engineering, and Information Technology Center, Saitama University, Japan
Biography: Tetsuya Shimamura is a Professor of Graduate School of Science and Engineering, and Information Technology Center at Saitama University in Japan. He was Dean of Information Technology Center at Saitama University in 2014 and 2015. In 1995 and 1996, he joined Loughborough University, UK, and The Queen's University of Belfast, UK, respectively, as a visiting Professor. His research interests are in digital signal processing and its applications to speech, audio, image and communication systems. He has published over 90 refereed journal articles and 220 international conference proceedings papers. He is an author or co-author of eight books, and a member of the organizing committee of several international conferences. He has received IEEE Pacific Rim Conference on Communications, Computers and Signal Processing, Gold Paper Award, in 2012, WSEAS International Conference on Multimedia Systems and Signal Processing, Best Paper Award, in 2013, and IEEE IFOST, Best Paper Award, in 2014. Also, he is a recipient of Journal of Signal Processing, Best Paper Award, in 2013, 2015, and 2016.

Prof. Xuewen Shu

Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China
Biography: Dr Xuewen Shu received his Ph.D. degree in optoelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2000. From 2000 to 2001, he was a Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Photonics Research Group at Aston University, UK. Then, he spent two years with Indigo Photonics Ltd., UK, as a Photonics Development Engineer and a Senior Engineer from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2013, worked as a Senior Research Fellow with the Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies at Aston University, UK. In 2013, he joined Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a full-professor. He has published over 160 papers in major international journals and conferences and also holds several European and U.S. patents. His research work has received over 2600 citations with 6 papers cited over 100 times and 1 paper cited over 600 times (Google Scholar). His research interests include UV/femtosecond laser based micro-/nano-fabrication, fiber gratings, optical fiber communications, fiber lasers and optical sensors.

Prof. Fusaomi Nagata

Biography: Fusaomi Nagata received the B.E. degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology in 1985, and the D.E. degree from the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Technology at Saga University in 1999. He was a research engineer with Kyushu Matsushita Electric Co. from 1985 to 1988, and a special researcher with Fukuoka Industrial Technology Centre from 1988 to 2006. He is currently a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, Yamaguchi, Japan and also a Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. His research interests include deep convolutional neural networks for visual inspection of resin molded articles, intelligent control for industrial robots and its application to machining process, e.g., robot sander, mold polishing robot, desktop NC machine tool with compliance control capability, machining robot with robotic CAM system, and 3D printer-like data interface for a machining robot have been developed for wood material, aluminum PET bottle mold, LED lens mold, foamed polystyrene, and so on.

Assoc. Prof. Yutaka Fukuchi

Tokyo University of Science, Japan
Biography: Yutaka Fukuchi was born in Tochigi, Japan, on April 29, 1975. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from Tokyo University of Science, Chiba, Japan, in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2003.
In 2003, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan as an Assistant Professor. From 2003 to 2005, he was also a Co-operative Research Fellow in Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. Then, he became a Junior Associate Professor of Tokyo University of Science in 2006. Since 2009, he has been an Associate Professor at this university. From 2013 to 2014, he was a Visiting Research Fellow with the High-Speed Optical Communications Group, Department of Photonics Engineering, Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, Denmark. His research interests are optical communications, quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and their applications.
Dr. Fukuchi is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Optical Society of America (OSA), and the Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers (IEICE).

Prof. Rohini Deshpande

Biography: Dr. RohiniDeshpande received her Ph. D degree in Electronics and Communication Engg., from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University (GGSIPU) New Delhi, M. E degree in Electronics and Communication Engg., from the University of Delhi, with honors and Bacholers degree in Electronics and Communication Engg., from Gulbarga Univeristy. She is currently a professor and Head Mechatronic Engineering Dept., The Oxford College of Engineering Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. She is involved in research and teaching UG and PG students in the present institute. Her major areas of research are Signal Processing, Optical Networks, Mobile Computation etc. She has published more than 36 papers in international journals and conferences of repute. She has citation index of 36. She is listed in Marques WHO'S WHO of the world and her bio data is published in pearl edition of 2012. Foundation for Accelerated Community Empowerment (FACE), Delhi has conferred on her the award VIDYA VIBHUSHAN based on the self-profile on 19th April 2015. She has organized many workshops and conferences. She has chaired many sessions in conferences. She is the senior member of IEEE.

Biography: Tadeusz Czachorski received M.Sc., Ph.D., D.Sc. degrees in informatics respectively in 1972, 1979, 1988, and professor title in 1999.
